"Let's stay in a townhouse" / NTT West, Hokuriku Electric Power, etc., Fukui's "Mikuni Minato" tourism business

Eleven companies, including NTT West and Hokuriku Electric Power Co., announced on the 3rd that they would establish a new tourism company in the Mikuniminato area of Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture to start business in January 2024. We will renovate traditional townhouses remaining in the Mikuni Minato area into accommodation facilities and develop an accommodation business that treats the entire town as one inn. We also operate a restaurant business that utilizes ingredients from Fukui Prefecture. Hokuriku Electric Power Co. will also participate in the investment, providing 100% hydroelectric carbon-free electricity and cooperating in the development of townscapes.
