The pavilion will showcase Canada's innovative and forward-looking thinking, vitality, forward-looking people and inclusive values. A local creative team (consortium) will lead the project from design to construction, operations and demolition. Components are manufactured in Canada, assembled in Canada or the UK, then shipped to site. Shima (Naniwa-ku, Osaka, president: Masakazu Takayama), headquartered in Osaka, will assemble the parts on site.

The booth will be located at location ``A5'' in the center of the ``Power to Life Area'' inside the large roof ring. Inside the museum there will be an exhibition based on the image of "river journey", demonstrating the warmth, openness and positivity of Canada. Performances and events reflecting Canada's diversity will be held in the courtyard as well as food and drink sales.

``We've come up with ways to make the construction process as efficient as possible,'' said government representative Laurie Peters. We are confident that it will be completed before the opening of the Expo'' and added, ``We want it to be the most famous pavilion.'' I put all my energy into it.
