The average reported sale price of a second-hand apartment in Tokyo’s central Minato ward has increased by 96% over the past 10 years, according to REINS.

In 2021, the average sale price was 1,540,900 Yen/sqm, up 14.2% from 2020 and up 96% from 2011. 

Price growth in this prime location has outpaced the average for Tokyo’s 23 wards, which have seen an 11.4% increase from 2020 and a 70% increase from 2011.
