Element One Hydrogen (CSE: BRCO), formerly known as Buscando Resources Corp., has acquired two geological hydrogen and critical mineral projects in British Columbia, marking its entry into Canada’s emerging hydrogen corridor.

The acquisitions — the HY Project near Fort St. James and the Shulaps Project northwest of Lillooet — add more than 4,100 hectares of prospective ground to the company’s portfolio.

    • HY Project: 2,758 hectares in the Omineca Mining District, with road access just 60 km from Prince George. The property is underlain by ultramafic rocks with potential for hydrogen generation through natural serpentinization, supported by fault systems that could trap migrating hydrogen.

    • Shulaps Project: 1,343 hectares in the historic Bridge River mining district. The Shulaps ultramafic complex, previously explored for nickel, copper, and PGEs, is considered prospective for engineered hydrogen production through artificial serpentinization.

Element One plans to advance both projects with geological mapping and geochemical surveys.

CEO Brad Kitchen called the acquisitions a milestone for the newly rebranded company:

“Element One Hydrogen is committed to developing innovative geological hydrogen opportunities that can support the global shift to a low-carbon future.”

The projects were acquired via a share purchase agreement for $10,000 cash and 1,250,000 common shares at a deemed price of $0.21 per share, subject to regulatory approval.
