This is the largest bidding package among 30 bidding packages under the Project in the contractor selection plan approved on November 1, 2022. The bid package price in the contractor selection plan is VND 1,600 billion, the approved estimate after approving the contractor selection plan is VND 1,811,537 billion.
Previously, the bidding package for construction of bridges leading from the beginning of the route to the T36-T37 poles has completed the selection of contractors from the end of 2022. The bidding package has a price at the contractor selection plan of VND 985 billion, the adjusted estimate is VND 985 billion. 1,109 billion VND. Only 1 contractor participated and won the bid, which was the Joint Venture of 479 Hoa Binh Joint Stock Company - 620 Infrastructure Development and Investment Joint Stock Company with the price of 1,105 billion VND. The contract performance period is 1,075 days.
Looking at the announced contractor selection plan, in the second quarter of 2023, there are still 2 bidding packages for construction of bridges with great value under the project that will also be selected for contractors, which is the T40 Bridge package - T41 to T62 pier and Package of Bridge Construction from T62 pier to M75 abutment and the path, with package prices of VND 620 billion and VND 630 billion, respectively. The bidding package for electricity, lighting and asphalt with a price of VND 100 billion is expected to select a contractor in the third quarter of 2024.
In addition to the construction and installation bidding packages, many consulting and construction insurance packages under the project will also be invited to bid in the near future.
Phuoc An Bridge project connects Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai) with Phu My town (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) through Thi Vai river. This is an important project of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, connecting the Cai Mep - Thi Vai inter-port road with the highway system in the region such as Ben Luc - Long Thanh and Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay , thereby, connecting seaport groups with the Southeast and Southwest regions, contributing to the socio-economic development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the economic region southern focus in general.
