An Viet Phat wants to build an 8,500 billion VND biomass power plant in Ha Tinh
An Viet Phat Group proposed to the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to approve the research and survey site for the 8,500 billion VND biomass power plant project in Ky Anh district.
According to the investor's proposal, the An Viet Phat biomass power plant project in Ha Tinh with a capacity of 112 MW will be built in Ky Anh district, using an area of 30 hectares. Total investment capital for the project is 8,500 billion VND. The project duration is 50 years.

According to the Office of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, before the proposal of the business, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has sent a document to assign the Department of Planning and Investment to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with other departments and localities to review and base on legal regulations. relevant laws and planning on development orientation, compliance with the investment law and the effectiveness of projects of enterprises in the area, advise and report to the Provincial People's Committee before March 18, 2022.
In Ha Tinh, in March 2021, An Viet Phat started operating a forest product processing factory with more than 1,287 billion VND after 13 months of starting construction in Vung Ang Economic Zone.
The factory has an area of over 155,000 m2, sawn timber capacity reaches 56,160 tons/year; plywood over 187,200 tons/year; the output of waste products from sawn timber and plywood exploitation is 224,640 tons/year; the capacity of wood pellets reaches 150,000 tons/year and the products and services provide sawn timber, plywood, wood pellets.
Currently, An Viet Phat owns 9 factories producing wood pellets in Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Phu Tho; 2 joint venture factories in Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh; 2 timber warehouses in the South; 1 warehouse for processing paper production in Cu Chi (HCMC)
