    Dai-ichi Life Insurance, Kajima, and Noritake Co., Ltd. announced on the 11th that they would develop an office building with a total area of ​​approximately 40,000 square meters in Naka-ku, Nagoya. Utilizing the city's comprehensive design system, the site owned by the three companies will be developed in an integrated manner. Construction is expected to start in June 2023 and be completed in March 2026. Kajima plans to handle the design and construction.


    The construction site is 2, Shinsakae-cho, Naka-ku, in a section of the Sakae district (site area: 3419 square meters). It is located on the east side of Nagoya Subway Sakae Station and Meitetsu Sakaemachi Station. The buildings owned by the three companies were all dilapidated, and they decided to jointly develop them. Companies are currently demolishing existing buildings.


    The building will be part of the SRC construction with one underground floor, 19 floors above ground, and three penthouse floors with a total area of ​​40,173 square meters. The height is about 99 meters. Set up offices and shops. The exterior has a concave and convex shape that suppresses sunlight. The lower floors will be planted with trees to create a space where you can feel the greenery and breeze.


    In consideration of the environment, it has acquired the S rank certification, which is the highest rank of the Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency (CASBEE). The building is also considering obtaining ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building) Ready certification, which reduces primary energy consumption by more than 50%.
