Shikoku Development Bureau / 5 technologies used for the first DX utilization model, site tour held in March 2023

The technology to be used in the ``FY2023 Imabari Road Igarashi Viaduct lower part P47-P49 construction'', which is the first project of the construction DX technology utilization model (option type) construction of the Shikoku Regional Development Bureau, has been decided. Shiraishi Construction Co., Ltd., which is in charge of construction, selected from the "Construction DX Casebook" of the Japan Federation of Construction Contractors (Nichikenren) Infrastructure Revitalization Committee. Confirm whether the technology is suitable for the site conditions and whether it is possible to provide support at the time you want to use it. The Shikoku Development Bureau and Shiraishi Construction Co., Ltd. coordinated and matched the five technologies.
The selected technologies are Kashima's "AI bar arrangement inspection system" and Shimizu Corporation's "real-time automatic bar arrangement inspection system", Fudo Tetra's "construction management of structures using point cloud data", and Sumitomo Mitsui Construction's real-time rebar production. Automatic shape inspection system "Raku Camera", Asanuma group's "Safety education and training by VR".
The construction site is in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture. In the construction to install three bridge piers with a height of 12 meters, 24 foundations with a diameter of 1.5 meters will be constructed. Kajima Corporation, Shimizu Corporation, and Sumitomo Mitsui Construction's technologies will be tested for each bridge pier, assuming that they can be used without any problems in terms of site conditions and delivery.
The Fudo Tetra technique will be tested on the P47 pier. A heat map can be created after the bridge pier is completed, and it is expected to be used for workmanship management such as evaluating the workmanship of the surface of the building frame.
Asanuma Gumi's technology, which creates a VR (virtual reality) model of the site and uses it for safety education and training, such as setting up scaffolding, takes time to create a model. to use.
Each technology will be used on site sequentially from early February 2023. The Shikoku Development Bureau plans to hold an on-site tour in early March. In addition to the local construction industry, we also call out to nearby high school students, technical college students, elementary and junior high school students, and their parents. Masahiro Mizuno, Deputy Manager of the Technical Management Section of the Planning Department, said, "We want people to know that the construction industry is at a major turning point, and we will firmly appeal that we will be an intelligent and safe construction industry by using the latest technology. I want to."
The trial construction of the "Construction DX technology utilization model (option type)" is a unique measure of the Shikoku Development Bureau and targets general civil engineering grade C. In the special specification, we introduce the technology published in the "Construction DX Casebook" of the Japan Federation of Infrastructure Revitalization Committee as a recommended example. The ordering company selects one or more technologies from among them and introduces them to the site. Necessary additional costs such as machine rent and system construction costs can be changed. In addition to boosting productivity improvement, which is an issue in the regional construction industry, we will increase the attractiveness of the industry and secure workers.
