"Environment" is the key word when choosing a hotel from now on. The trend is how to shift to eco-friendly hotels that will be newly opened in Paris. One of them is the newly opened 5-star hotel "Madame Reve" in the building of the Louvre Central Post Office in the center of Paris in October 2021. The Louvre Central Post Office building has been closed for renovations since 2005, but facilities have been opened sequentially since last year. Madame Reve also opened as a hot topic hotel.

The hotel took the plunge with the "hot water" that is normally used in large quantities at hotels. Half of the energy used to boil the water is supplemented by power generation from solar panels installed on the roof, and the number of bathtubs is exceptionally limited for a five-star hotel. In addition to the equipment, how much consideration is given to not burden the earth is being added as a new value for choosing a place to stay.
