◆ Regional revitalization through commercialization of increased harvest Chubu Electric Power Company has completed a beer product using hops grown in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The company's Shizuoka branch (CEO and Branch Manager) visited City Hall on the 4th and presented Mayor Takashi Kubota with a beer made from locally produced hops. The local beer was created to utilize abandoned farmland in the region to grow hops, and those involved hope that it will lead to the revitalization of the area.
