The photovoltaic power generation system installed at the head office/Tenryu factory has a solar panel output of 686.7 kW and is expected to generate 730,000 kWh annually. About 13% of the facility's annual power consumption is covered, and the annual CO2 emissions reduction effect is 335 tons.
The facility is owned by the company, with solar panels made by Suntech and power conditioners (PCS) made by Huawei of China. Sun Junior (Suzaka City, Nagano Prefecture) will be in charge of EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) and O&M (operation and maintenance) services.
The solar power generation system to be installed at the Takamori Plant is expected to have a solar panel output of 462 kW and annual power generation of 480,000 kWh. Covering about 24% of the electricity used, the annual CO2 emission reduction effect is 220 tons.
