    A survey by Kokusai Kogyo (Tokyo, Japan) published on Nov 14, 2025:

    • Among 110 respondents (construction, wholesale/retail, real estate):

      • 55.4% currently collaborate with external companies.

      • 25.5% previously collaborated but no longer do.

      • In total, 80.9% have had some collaboration experience.

      • 8.2% considered collaboration but have not implemented it; 10.9% have never considered it.

    Purpose of collaboration:

    • 58.4%: Need to respond to proposals and increase sales for existing customers.

    • 37.1%: Expand products and sales areas.

    • 33.7%: Address efficiency issues in direct-to-home sales.

    Important factors in choosing partners:

    • 46.1%: Clear customer feedback and reporting processes.

    • 44.9%: Training and certification systems for sales representatives.

    Reasons for not collaborating:

    • 33.3%: No specific benefits perceived.

    • 28.6%: Lack of information to assess partner reliability.

    • 23.8%: Undefined responsibilities in case of issues.

    Future plans and conditions for successful collaboration:

    • 23.6% want to expand further, 31.8% are considering if necessary, 35.6% maintain the status quo.

    • Success conditions: 49.1% require standardized customer service progress reporting, 40.9% require sales representative training, 34.5% require clear contract rules and profit allocation.

    Conclusion:
    Collaboration with external partners is becoming a key trend in the solar and storage industry, with priorities on sales efficiency, market expansion, and transparent management systems.
