By utilizing non-fossil certificates with tracking, including non-fossil certificates from the same power plant, it is regarded as real renewable energy with environmental value under the domestic system. In addition, by developing it newly, it has "additionality" and complies with the rules of the international initiative RE100. Residents of the target building will be able to use renewable energy electricity with 100% environmental value derived from real renewable energy. As a result, the two buildings will achieve virtually zero CO2 emissions, and we expect to reduce CO2 emissions by 1,800 tons annually.
Since 2021, Yasuda Real Estate has been promoting the introduction of RE100 compatible renewable energy power to buildings under operation and management, including the building where the company has its headquarters. Going forward, the two companies will continue to introduce highly additional renewable energy by making the most of their resources and know-how.
