Decarbonization Demonstration at Hokkaido University/Hokkaido Electric Power Co., etc. Collaborate on Renewable Energy and Storage Batteries

    Hokkaido University, Hokkaido Electric Power Co., and the Hokkaido Science and Technology Promotion Center (North Tech Foundation) announced on the 22nd that they will jointly proceed with a demonstration experiment for decarbonization at the Hokkaido University North Campus (Sapporo City). By 2030, we will introduce solar power generation, storage batteries, an energy management system, etc., and build a model that efficiently uses power and heat derived from renewable energy. After 2030, the plan is to expand the model to other campuses and municipalities in Hokkaido.
