Osaka Gas will break ground on a new facility to research decarbonization technology in Osaka City today, the 13th. We will consolidate related research departments and promote research and development of methanation technology , disseminate information and co-create with external parties. An outdoor area will also be set up, including a SOEC (solid oxide water electrolysis cell) methanization technology demonstration plant. The goal is to complete construction by the end of July 2025.
