J-Tech (Rokkasho Village, Aomori Prefecture, President Takashi Maki), a group company of Japan Nuclear Fuel Ltd., which operates and maintains spent fuel reprocessing plants, held a ceremony to commemorate its 20th anniversary. In addition to the company's employees, about 140 people involved in nuclear fuel, Aomori Prefecture, Rokkasho Village, etc. participated. President Maki said, "With the reprocessing plant and MOX (uranium-plutonium mixed oxide) fuel fabrication plant nearing completion, we would like to contribute even more to the nuclear fuel cycle business."
