On September 9, San-A (Yokosuka City), which proposed and built a self-consumption solar power generation system, announced that it will centralize information on the installed solar panel manufacturer, completion date, maintenance history, various insurance information, etc. on the cloud, and the company announced that it will start providing management and storage services to small and medium-sized enterprises.

By tagging each solar power system with a unique ID and centrally managing this information in the cloud, it is possible to accurately track the history of solar panels from installation to disposal. It is planned to store about 30 items of information such as manufacturer information, completion date, maintenance history and various types of insurance for installed solar panels.

Use the "SANAEI Traceability Mark". You will be able to access detailed information simply by holding your smartphone above the marker. The marker will be affixed to peripheral devices such as power conditioners (PCS) and monitors, so detailed information can be easily checked even when solar panels are installed on the roof.
In addition to providing this service as a standard service to customers who have installed the company's solar power generation systems, the company plans to gradually provide it to existing customers. In addition, we aim to improve traceability across the industry by collaborating with recycling businesses. By ensuring the traceability of solar panels, it will be possible to properly handle them at the time of disposal, which is expected to improve the efficiency of disassembly and separation for recycling and environmental protection.
