Sustech (Minato-ku, Tokyo) installed an on-site power purchase agreement (PPA) model solar system on the roof of the Komaki 3rd Logistics Center, which is being developed by Daisei Soko Unyu (Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture). Install photovoltaic equipment. On March 29, the company announced that it had signed a basic agreement.

Sustech, a PPA power supplier, will install, maintain, and operate the solar power generation equipment, and the generated power will be consumed within the distribution center facilities. The output of the solar power generation facility is approximately 1.8MW. Annual power generation is expected to be approximately 2.21 million kWh, covering approximately 56% of the center's power consumption. Completion is scheduled for July 2025.

Daiei Soko Transportation aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from business activities by introducing solar power generation through an on-site PPA model. A reduction effect of approximately 174 tons per year is expected.

In addition, by linking with the distributed power operation platform "ELIC" operated by Sustech, it is possible to supply surplus power to other facilities of Daiei Warehouse Transport and sell power using feed-in premium (FIP). anticipate.
