Kaikenkyo / Establishment of award system for overseas business, 10 selections in December

The Overseas Construction Association of Japan (Kaikenkyo, Chairman Yoshiro Aikawa) will embark on a project to commend excellent construction projects that member companies have been involved in overseas. The name is "OCAJI Project Award". The purpose is to increase the presence of Japanese construction-related companies so that they can continue to receive orders overseas in a stable manner. The Kaikenkyo will select and announce about 10 award projects in early December. An award ceremony is scheduled to be held in Tokyo in late January next year.
Announced the application guidelines for the 2022 award project, which will be the first on the 19th. Qualifications for application are members of the International Contractors Association of Korea or the Japan Federation of Construction Contractors (Chairman Yoichi Miyamoto, Nikkenren), which has many overlapping members. Projects of approximately 100 million yen or more, which were completed or put into service from January 19 to December 2009, are targeted for projects that are involved from the standpoint of a contractor or developer overseas. You can apply for 2 projects per company. Joint ventures can also apply.
There are four construction projects to be commended: ▽ civil engineering ▽ architecture ▽ combined civil engineering / architecture ▽ development. It is assumed that projects other than development are involved in the position of the main builder or a similar builder, and development is in the position of a business operator.
Kaikenkyo started distributing application documents at 10:00 am on May 17th. Recruitment begins at noon on June 1st and closes at noon on July 15th. The evaluation is made on a scale of 100 points, of which 40 points are assigned to each of the four items of "quality", "construction period", "safety and health / safety", and "environment" in the process evaluation. The remaining 60 points will be evaluated as to whether or not the priority issues of the project selected by the applicant have been sufficiently addressed.
Accept the request to obtain the application documents by e-mail (award2022@ocaji.or.jp) of the Kaikenkyo Awards Secretariat.
