Inui Shipping Co., Ltd., which operates ocean shipping and real estate businesses, is planning a large-scale construction project in the Kachidoki area of Tokyo's Chuo Ward. The company will rebuild an apartment complex owned by the company and develop a new facility consisting of condominiums. The facility is expected to have a total area of 60,000 square meters. The demolition of the existing building is scheduled to start in 2025. Aiming for completion in 2030.

This was made clear in the medium-term management plan (2011-2025) announced in April. The planned site is Kachidoki 1 (site area about 9,000 square meters). Close to the south end of Kachidoki Bridge.
On the premises, there is a housing complex "Plaza Kachidoki" developed by the company (3 buildings, including a 14-story SRC building, totaling about 30,000 square meters, 454 units). Completed in 1987. The facility will be rebuilt and the total floor area on the premises will be increased to 60,000 square meters.
This movement took shape in tandem with the redevelopment of the former site of Tsukiji Market, which is adjacent to the north end of Kachidoki Bridge. The Tokyo metropolitan government has set a policy to promote new urban development, including MICE (large-scale event) facilities, on a site of about 19 hectares in Tsukiji 5 and others. The idea is to supply high-quality housing in the Kachidoki area, which is expected to continue to develop, and lead to stable operations.
