The Minister of Transport has just signed Decision No. 34/QD – BGTVT on assigning the investor to prepare the feasibility study report for the construction investment project of the My An - Cao Lanh expressway, phase 1. using Korean ODA loans.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Transport assigned the My Thuan Project Management Board to act as the investor in the preparation of the Feasibility Study Report of the My An - Cao Lanh Expressway Construction Investment Project Phase 1.
The My Thuan Project Management Board is responsible for implementing investment preparation procedures for the My An - Cao Lanh Expressway construction investment project phase 1 in accordance with the law, ensuring the quality and progress of the project. required level; and at the same time coordinate with the Export-Import Bank of Korea (Keximbank), relevant agencies in the management and use of ODA loans according to regulations.
Previously, at the end of December 2021, the Prime Minister issued Decision 2203/QD-TTg approving the investment policy of the My An - Cao Lanh expressway construction investment project phase 1. will use loans from the Korean Government.
Specifically, this project, which is played by the Ministry of Transport as an investment owner, has the overall goal of gradually completing the road traffic network connecting traffic in the Mekong Delta region in order to promote economic development. sustainable economic and social development, ensuring national security and defense in the Mekong Delta region in general and the provinces of Long An and Dong Thap in particular.
The specific objective of the Project is to invest in the construction of the My An - Cao Lanh expressway, phase 1, in order to effectively promote the Project of Connecting the Central Mekong Delta; completing and connecting the N2 route, Ho Chi Minh road and the North-South expressway to the West.
