We have a member-first policy. Our top priority is to ensure we have engineers for the future. We call on public contracting organisations to ensure a stable volume of business in the medium to long term and to revise the flexible assessment system for surveyors and survey assistants. To improve the attractiveness of the industry, we aim to develop it into an exciting survey design industry that makes the most of digital technology.

Mr. Yuji Fujimoto
--What are your expectations when you are appointed?
“The industry environment is completely different between urban areas such as Tokyo and Osaka and rural areas. While the activities of the Construction Construction Association are focused on large companies, I feel that Zensokuren's activities receive a lot of expectations from local people. The majority of members are members. We will carefully collect opinions and requests from ordering organizations, etc., and engage in activities that benefit our members.''
--What are the market conditions for our business?
``The survey design will focus on public works projects. It will continue to be strong, focusing on national resilience measures, but we need budget measures that allow us to foresee the future.' is being implemented in the supplementary budget. The government is aiming to build measures such as understanding the current status of public works land, planning for projects and land acquisition in a year. budget, including the ``Medium-term Plan for the Implementation of National Resilience'', to ensure a stable workload from a medium- and long-term perspective.''
-- What is the top priority?
`Securing, retaining and training engineers for the future is key. The 3rd Engineers Promotion Act, which was introduced in Parliament this year, has amended the Surveying Act along with the Construction Business Act, etc. The qualification system for survey assistants will be reviewed. We will closely monitor national trends and discuss and propose the most appropriate plan if necessary.'
'For example, a survey assistant is enough for public works projects. is very low (13.0% in 2016), the qualification system needs to be more flexible to suit the actual situation, such as allowing survey assistants to perform the work of surveyors. In addition, in my opinion, due to the extremely low birth rate in Japan. , it is necessary to expand the number of foreign human resources.''
-- What is the future vision of the industry?
``We are looking forward to realizing the new 4K (salary, vacation, hope, coolness) that is being promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Japan Federation of Construction Contractors and others. We are attracted to the survey and design work of the entire industry. We want to make more use of digital technology. As digitalization accelerates along with the advancement of technological innovation, we will consider measures to support the full-scale use of 3D data, which will form the basis for survey design work.''
